The Old Mill Subway

The Old Mill Subway is located on the Bloor / Danforth line of the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC).  The Old Mill Subway station.  It is an underground and elevated structure and only serves about 5700 people a day!  It is located in the beautiful heart of Humber Valley. This station boasts wide open window views showing wildly gorgeous greenery in the spring and summer months and lush forest land. The Old Mill Subway takes you to the Old Mill Inn and Spa and Bar. Houses a Wedding Garden and Chapel and is a wonderful spot for that special day. For those of you who have a taste for the unknown, there have been stories of hauntings and signtings at the Old Mill Subway station on the tracks of a woman and child. These hauntings were noted by workers in the tunnels and passengers. Take a trip ..you never know who you'll meet ;)

While here, I had a drink in the Old Mill tavern and did some hiking out in the gorgeous parkland! I only wish I had of discovered this west Toronto find earlier in the year! There's always next Spring.
