Davisville and Yonge |
Davisville Subway Station is located on the Yonge/ University -Spadina Line. It is also a rail yard and was the only yard on the system back in 1954 when the subway line was first opened to the public. Back then, trains only ran between Union and Eglinton stations. Now there are trains to and from all 4 furthest points of the GTA.
When you come outside, theres no shortage of coffee houses (Timmys, Starbucks and Second cup) and we didn't have trouble picking a favorite either! I lived on Oriole Parkway back in the 80's for a year- so was interesting to see how things had changed over the years.
